Get It Done is a 3‑hour neurodivergent‑friendly co‑working class with empowering guidance and support to clear your too‑hard basket.
Ever feel like you just do not have enough time to do those boring jobs that suck out your soul?
The things like backing up your phone, sorting out your emails, or even sorting out your photos.
Well – that is because neurodivergent people were not built to do boring jobs. We are here for the thrill of life, the excitement, the novelty, the magic. There is no dopamine in menial tasks.
Why Boring Jobs Are So Hard For Neurodivergent Brains
If you have ever sat there staring at your inbox or your paperwork and thought, “What is wrong with me, this should be easy,” there is nothing wrong with you.
Neurodivergent brains are wired for interest, urgency, or genuine meaning. When something is repetitive, boring, or feels pointless, your brain simply does not get the “go” signal, no matter how many planners, apps, or colour‑coded systems you try.
Over time, those little “I will do it later” jobs turn into a whole too‑hard basket. Then shame sneaks in, and suddenly it is not just about the emails or the forms – it is about what you make it mean about you.
Get It Done is designed to take the pressure off you as an individual, and put it onto the environment, the structure, and the support around you instead.
What Actually Happens At Get It Done
That is where Get It Done comes in. It is a three‑hour class where you have the time, support, body doubling, dopamine, and environment to get those things you hate to do, done.
This workshop starts with a brief socialisation section where you can meet the other people and get to know them a bit; this allows you to draw on each other’s strengths, feel validated in your experiences, and know there are others in the same boat as you.
Then we move onto a short empowerment section where we discuss the things that are holding you back from achieving what it is you want to get done – and we create a threat‑free plan to get started.
Then, the rest of the time is yours. You have approximately two hours to get whatever you need to get done. You can put your headphones on and hyperfocus, or you can work with others to navigate your too‑hard basket.
It is entirely up to you how you spend this time, but you will be supported all the way.
Who Get It Done Is For
Get It Done is for you if you know you are capable, but the basics keep slipping through the cracks.
Maybe you have forms sitting on your desk that you keep moving from pile to pile. Maybe your inbox feels like a monster. Maybe you keep meaning to back up your phone, sort your photos, or finally deal with that one bit of life admin that has been haunting you for months.
You do not need to be “on top of things” to show up. You do not need to have a formal diagnosis. You just need to bring yourself, your too‑hard basket, and whatever you are ready to work on.
You are welcome to bring dinner, as there are facilities to heat it up; there is also tea and coffee available.
